James Connolly Poster

The revolutionary leader, James Connolly spent seven years in New York in the early 20th century. Already well known in radical circles, the poster advertises a farewell dinner in his honour when he departed for Ireland in 1910. This proved a final farewell for many - Connolly was executed six years later for his leading role in the 1916 Rising.
